Just on the other side of the large aquarium tunnel walk-through is a tall floor to ceiling circular tank full of Pompano Fish swimming in a schooling formation. But what’s that toward the bottom. Could it be the elusive Rhino Fish?
Well the real Rhino fish is much smaller, more silver in color and has scales. But if a leather backed horned Rhino fish did exist, the Henry Doorly Zoo would be the place to see one. Perhaps on our next visit we will find a Lion Fish. Only time will tell.
